Metro rail paragraph

Metro Rail is a rapid railway transit system in the world of communication. It was first launched in London in 1863.  By signing a loan agreement between the Government of Bangladesh and JICA in January 2013, Dhaka Metro Rail was planned to be constructed in Dhaka. The main aim of its construction was to reduce the increasing traffic congestion in Dhaka mega city. On June 26, 2016, the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, inaugurated the construction of the Dhaka Metro Rail. First it was decided to construct the 21.10 km long first phase of Dhaka Metrorail called MRT-6. But now the length of Dhaka Metro rail MRT-6 is 20.26 km or 13.21 miles.  And the total cost of this project was estimated at Tk 21,985 crore.  But later it was increased to Tk 33,472 crore. The present number of stations of this Metro Rail is 9 but its planned number of stations is 112. 

মেট্রোরেল যোগাযোগের জগতে একটি দ্রুত রেল 

পরিবহন ব্যবস্থা। এটি ১৮৬৩ সালে লন্ডনে প্রথম চালু হয়েছিল। ২০১৩ সালের জানুয়ারিতে বাংলাদেশ সরকার এবং জাইকার মধ্যে একটি ঋণ চুক্তি স্বাক্ষরের মাধ্যমে ঢাকা মেট্রোরেল ঢাকায় নির্মাণের পরিকল্পনা করা হয়েছিল। এটি নির্মাণের মূল লক্ষ্য ছিল ঢাকা মেগা সিটিতে ক্রমবর্ধমান যানজট কমানো। ২০১৬ সালের ২৬ শে জুন বাংলাদেশের মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা ঢাকা মেট্রো রেল নির্মাণের উদ্বোধন করেন। প্রথমে MRT-6 নামে ঢাকা মেট্রোরেলের ২১.১০ কিলোমিটার দীর্ঘ প্রথম ফেজ নির্মাণের সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়। কিন্তু এখন ঢাকা মেট্রোরেল MRT-6 এর দৈর্ঘ্য ২০.২৬ কিমি বা ১৩.২১ মাইল। আর এই প্রকল্পের মোট ব্যয় ধরা হয়েছিল ২১ হাজার ৯৮৫ কোটি টাকা। কিন্তু পরে তা বাড়িয়ে ৩৩ হাজার ৪৭২ কোটি টাকা করা হয়। এই মেট্রো রেলের বর্তমান স্টেশনের সংখ্যা ৯ কিন্তু এর পরিকল্পিত স্টেশন সংখ্যা ১১২।

Its head office is located in Dhaka. The name of the managing company of Dhaka Metro Rail is Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited.  Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the first phase of MRT-6 of Dhaka Metro Rail on 28th December 2022 in a grand atmosphere and implemented the cherished dream of the people of Dhaka.  And from 29th December it was opened to the public.  As a result of the construction of Dhaka Metro Rail, on the one hand, the extreme sufferings of the people of Dhaka will be reduced in the sphere of communication and on the other hand, it will greatly develop the economy of Bangladesh. In fact, like Padma Bridge, Dhaka Metro Rail will go a long way in reducing the sufferings of the people of Bangladesh in terms of transportation and communication.

এর প্রধান কার্যালয় ঢাকায় অবস্থিত। ঢাকা মেট্রো রেলের ব্যবস্থাপনা কোম্পানির নাম ঢাকা ম্যাস ট্রানজিট কোম্পানি লিমিটেড। মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা ২০২২ সালের ২৮ শে ডিসেম্বর ঢাকা মেট্রোরেলের MRT-6-এর প্রথম ফেজ একটি আড়ম্বরপূর্ণ পরিবেশের মধ‍্যদিয়ে উদ্বোধন করেন এবং ঢাকাবাসীর লালিত স্বপ্ন বাস্তবায়ন করেন। আর ২৯ শে ডিসেম্বর থেকে এটি সর্বসাধারণের জন্য উন্মুক্ত করে দেওয়া হয়। ঢাকা মেট্রোরেল নির্মাণের ফলে একদিকে যেমন যোগাযোগের ক্ষেত্রে ঢাকাবাসীর চরম দুর্ভোগ লাঘব হবে, অন্যদিকে বাংলাদেশের অর্থনীতিতে ব্যাপক উন্নয়ন ঘটবে। প্রকৃতপক্ষে, পদ্মা সেতুর মতো ঢাকা মেট্রোরেল যাতায়াত ও যোগাযোগের ক্ষেত্রে বাংলাদেশের মানুষের ভোগান্তি কমিয়ে অনেক দূর এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাবে।
